Laser Tattoo Removal

Permanent removal of unwanted tattoos with our safe and effective laser tattoo removal treatments.

Using a combination of laser wavelengths that target different ink colours, high-intensity light beams break up the ink particles in the tattoo, revealing clear, ink-free skin with minimal risk of scarring or hypo-pigmentation.

Grown tired of a tattoo?

With cosmetic laser treatment, you can get rid of it once and for all.

Personal tastes and times constantly change. That’s why removing unwanted tattoos will make a huge difference in how you feel about yourself. Experience the wonders of cosmetic laser treatment . . . and experience a new you.

How does laser tattoo removal treatment work?

Successful tattoo removal is achieved with our high powered laser that can deliver enough energy within the absorption spectrum for removal of a range of ink colours.

The laser works by vibrating and breaking down the ink particles in the tattoo.

Selective absorption of very high peak power laser light pulses by tattoo ink in the skin causing the targeted ink particles to breakdown mechanically while significantly decreasing potential damage to surrounding tissues. The fragmented particles are then removed from the skin by the body’s immune or lymphatic system.

As the area heals, the body’s immune system flushes away the shattered ink particles, causing the tattoo to fade with minimal risk of scarring or hypo-pigmentation.

Are there any side effects to laser tattoo treatment?

Overall, treatments are gentle and mild, causing only slight discomfort with minimal side effects.

How many treatments are required?

The number of required treatments is dependent on several factors, including depth of ink penetration, age of the tattoo and colour intensity – that is, lighter versus darker colours.

However, most people need five to six treatments and begin seeing results after only one or two sessions.

Is any recovery time needed between treatment sessions?

Although treatment sessions are scheduled approximately four to six weeks apart, no rest or recuperation time is required after each visit. You will immediately be able to resume normal activities without restriction.

What types of tattoos can be removed?

While certain pigments and inks are harder to erase than others, a majority of colours can be removed. Our skin specialist will advise you with a FREE consultation to explain all aspects of the treatment and provide a realistic idea of expected results.
