The dermatological clinical outpatient services enable Dr. Downs to see and treat his Cornish patients with consultations and day case surgery all held at at Duchy hospital, Truro.
Duchy hospital is Cornwall's only private hospital with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services.
The wide range of skin treatments and services are all fully approved by all medical insurance companies and GP and self-referrals are accepted.
If patients are unable to attend the Duchy hospital in Truro to get their skin conditions diagnosed and treated, Dr. Downs is able to offer patients remote online appointments via dermatology video consultations.
Patients can also upload a photo of their skin condition for assessment by Dr. Downs using the form below. This photographic upload service is designed to help us assess potential patients, check to see if you are suitable to be seen by us, and help you to decide if you would like to book a consultation and what the possible costs may entail. Dr Downs is happy to receive a photograph using the form below if you would like an initial opinion on an individual mole/skin lesion. You can then proceed to book a consultation with Dr. Downs if further investigation is required.
